Erica Catalano has 15 years of experience as a lawyer handling various legal issues ranging from criminal law, military and national security law, to estate planning. She is a dedicated counselor for her clients, assisting each through planning and complex decision making.
She received her undergraduate degree in Business - Real Estate from Florida State University and her law degree from Florida International University College of Law. Prior to law school, she worked in both the public and private sector of the real estate industry. Erica has been a trial attorney, practicing in both the criminal and military justice areas of the law, and a senior counsel, practicing national security law as a civilian for the federal government. She joined the Florida Army National Guard JAG Corps in 2012, then transferred to the United States Army Reserve JAG Corps in 2022, where she is a Major currently serving as Chief of National Security Law assigned to U.S. Forces Japan.
She was admitted to the Florida Bar in 2010 where she is currently a member of the Real Property Probate and Trust Section. She is also a member of the International Law Section, for which she wrote an article for the International Law Quarterly. Erica is AV rated by Martindale-Hubbell. This rating is Martindale-Hubbell's highest rating.
